Grievance Redressal Cell

KES’ Shroff College of Arts & Commerce is committed to providing a safe, transparent, and supportive academic environment for all its students, faculty members, and non-teaching staff. In accordance with the guidelines of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the University Grants Commission (UGC), the college has established a Grievance Redressal Cell (GRC) to address grievances in a fair, unbiased, and time-bound manner.

The Grievance Redressal Cell aims to ensure that the concerns and complaints of stakeholders are resolved promptly while maintaining confidentiality and ensuring justice.

  • To provide a transparent mechanism for redressal of grievances.
  • To ensure a fair and impartial hearing of grievances.
  • To promote harmony and a healthy academic atmosphere.
  • To safeguard the rights of students, faculty, and staff.
  • To encourage amicable resolution of issues through dialogue.

The Grievance Redressal Cell addresses grievances related to:

  • Academic matters.
  • Examination and evaluation issues.
  • Administrative services.
  • Infrastructure and facilities.
  • Teaching-learning processes.
  • Student services.
  • Any other matter affecting the academic or campus environment.
  1. Submission of Grievance
    The aggrieved student, faculty member, or staff may submit their grievance through the online grievance submission form available on the college website or via the designated email ID.
  2. Acknowledgement
    An acknowledgement will be sent to the complainant within 2 working days of receiving the grievance.
  3. Review and Investigation
    The Grievance Redressal Cell will examine the grievance and, if required, seek additional information or conduct discussions with concerned parties.
  4. Resolution
    The grievance will be resolved within 7–15 working days, depending on the nature of the complaint.
  5. Appeal Mechanism
    If the complainant is not satisfied with the resolution, they may appeal to the Head of the Institution for further consideration.
  • All grievances will be handled with strict confidentiality.
  • No individual shall face discrimination or retaliation for raising a grievance.
  • Anonymous grievances may also be accepted, subject to sufficient information being provided.
