Initiated in 1998 with the formation of the registered alumni body, Chakrawyuha has grown into one of Mumbai’s most vibrant and eagerly anticipated intercollegiate festivals. Under the visionary leadership of Dr. V. S. Kannan, who steered the fest as Chairperson for 27 illustrious years, Principal – Dr Lily Bhushan has been the guiding star throughout. The KES Management has always supported the fest. Chakrawyuha has evolved into a celebration of talent, creativity, and youthful energy.

This two-day cultural extravaganza features over 28 events, comprising of sports, performing and fine arts, as well as gaming and tech events, offering students a dynamic platform to showcase their skills and competitive spirit. With participation from over 2000 students across numerous colleges, the campus comes alive with enthusiasm, intellectual engagement, and electrifying energy.

A hallmark of Chakrawyuha has been its high-octane musical evenings, featuring celebrated artists such as Udit Narayan, Darshan Raval, Divya Kumar, Falguni Pathak, Sachin–Jigar, Jonita Gandhi, and Nirav Barot, who made each edition truly memorable.

Over the years, the fest has also been honoured by the presence of distinguished personalities including Shri Ram Jethmalani, former Union Law Minister, noted Bollywood music composer Raju Singh, Rajiv Bhatt, renowned cricket coach Shri Dinesh Lad, and actors such as Arun Bakshi and Aditya Syal, among many others.

Today, Chakrawyuha stands as a symbol of excellence and celebration, bringing together talent, passion, and the spirit of healthy competition on one dynamic platform.
